Included Sessions
Christ and the Cultural Crisis
This session establishes the supremacy of Christ over all creation and introduces the foundational truth that the gospel is cosmic in scope—not limited to personal salvation, but impacting every area of life. Participants will confront today’s cultural upheaval and discover how secular ideas have reshaped the church. Through Colossians 1, we learn that Christ holds all things together and is Lord over culture, law, politics, and education. True Christian faith requires recognizing this Lordship and resisting compromise.
The Gospel and Culture—Living Under Christ’s Lordship
Culture is not neutral—it’s religion externalized. This session explores how every culture reflects what its people worship. Participants learn to recognize how modern secular culture is shaped by humanism and autonomy, and how true worship must lead to true culture. Using biblical categories of structure and direction, we examine how Christians can redirect culture toward Christ by building families, churches, schools, and societies that glorify God. The gospel calls us not to escape culture but to reshape it under Christ’s Lordship.
Transforming Culture Through Courage
Faithful Christian living must move beyond belief into bold cultural obedience. This final session calls believers to confront sin and proclaim truth in public life, following the biblical examples of Moses, Daniel, and Paul. We examine the false idea that Christianity belongs only in private and recover the biblical vision of Christ’s authority over all nations. Christians are called to shape culture, challenge idols, and live as citizens of God’s Kingdom with courage and grace, knowing that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Christ.
